Pink Affair
Pink Affair
Located in the heart of Barcelona, next to the iconic Passeig de Gràcia, this apartment is an interior design proposal that blends the essence of Catalan modernism with contemporary design. This project aims to reinterpret the city’s rich architectural heritage, creating a space that celebrates luxury and sophistication.
Its design strikes a balance between warm and cool materials, allowing marble and wood to coexist in harmony, becoming the focal elements of the apartment.
From the moment you enter, the floor stands out with a geometric combination of marbles and precious stones, such as pink onyx, Emperador marble, and Marquina black marble, evoking the traditional hydraulic tiles of modernism.
Transitions between rooms are framed with large marble pieces, specifically designed to act as transitional volumes connecting the living spaces.
Natural wood in a herringbone pattern in other areas, along with modernist-style plaster moldings on walls and ceilings, adds warmth and a sense of nostalgia.
The hallway, with a mirrored wall that amplifies light and space, leads to the dining room, where a pink onyx table becomes the focal point. Next to it, an oak bookcase adds texture and contrast, creating a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen, also clad in pink onyx, maintains a continuity of materials and finishes throughout the space.
The bedrooms, in soft pink tones, invite relaxation, while the bathrooms, adorned with brown Emperador marble, offer an air of understated luxury. This apartment is not just a long-term rental; it is a home designed for those who value good design in a comfortable and accessible space, where every detail matters.
