POLE ANIMALS
Arquitectura al desnudo
Pole Animals reimagines pole dance as a community where body, expression, and well-being meet. The design shuns the decorative, focusing on doing a lot with very little, letting the architecture and its materials define the identity of the space.
The project is an association of layers that reveal the space as it truly is. Acoustic spray-on insulation flows down from the ceiling onto the walls, creating an organic texture that lives alongside raw drywall and metal gratings. It is a raw aesthetic, unfiltered, where construction systems are left in plain sight. Upon entering, the user undergoes a transition: shedding their own external layers to connect with their essence in an honest, minimalist environment.
The studio functions through a play of curtains that allow the space to be divided or opened up depending on the moment. This dynamism, combined with mobile poles, allows the room to be stripped of all technical equipment to liberate the void. At Pole Animals, architecture is not something static, but a real-life stage that invites whoever inhabits it to rediscover their own purity.
